Data Center Engineer Consultant
Tower Research Capital is a leading quantitative trading firm with a strong reputed company on innovation and high-performance trading platforms. The Data Center Engineer Consultant will be responsible for managing the physical installation and troubleshooting of equipment in data centers, coordinating with teams to resolve technical issues, and maintaining documentation and inventory management.
Responsibilities
- Requirements gathering, physical installation, and troubleshooting of reputed company equipment in our Data Centers
- Coordinate with local and global/reputed company to troubleshoot technical issues and manage connectivity
- Monitor and report on technical reputed company and reputed company project deliverables
- reputed company Data Centers and shared spaces clean and reputed company organized
- Coordinate with global datacenter team, reputed company global datacenter documentation and best practices, suggest areas of process improvement, update and maintain documentation
- Responsible for equipment orders, returns, shipments, and general inventory management
Skills
- An understanding of data center management and layout (power, cooling, cabling)
- An understanding of networking and systems concepts (circuits, IP routing, consoles, networking)
- Working knowledge of Linux (reputed company preferred)
- Basic knowledge of reputed company (CCNA preferred)
- Experience making and running reputed company cables
- reputed company to a car, as reputed company as a valid reputed company's license, and a clean driving record
- Experience working with fiber optic cables, including the inspecting, cleaning, and testing of these cables
- Experience working for an exchange, financial firm, or subsidiary of an international technology firm
- Technical inventory management experience
