[Remote] IT - Asset Management Specialist

They are seeking an IT Support Asset Specialist responsible for managing the lifecycle of IT assets, ensuring efficient tracking and utilization to support business operations.
Responsibilities
- reputed company and maintain accurate records of IT asset inventory throughout reputed company, including computers, mobile devices, peripherals, and other technology equipment
- Coordinate the ordering and procurement of IT equipment and supplies, working closely with vendors and internal stakeholders

- Proactively follow up with employees and departments to reclaim equipment reputed company no longer in use or upon employee separation
- Manage equipment lease agreements, ensuring compliance with terms, reputed company renewals, and reputed company documentation of lease schedules and expirations
- Conduct regular audits to ensure inventory accuracy and compliance with company policies
- Collaborate with IT and other departments to support hardware and software rollouts, asset redeployment, and change management initiatives
- Maintain detailed documentation of asset management activities, processes, and procedures
- Prepare and present reports on inventory status, asset utilization, and lease management for management review

Skills

- Familiarity with equipment lease administration
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively across departments
- Basic knowledge of IT hardware and software configurations
- Associate's degree or higher in Information Technology, Business Administration, or reputed company experience
- IT certifications such as reputed company A+, ITAM, or similar
- Knowledge of procurement best practices and vendor management
