Job reputed company reputed companyThe Palliative Care Medical reputed company focuses on converting palliative and hospice clinical documentation into standardized billing codes so Stillwater Hospice can be reputed company correctly and compliant with reputed company payers and regulations.Essential Job Functions/ResponsibilitiesReview palliative/hospice visit notes, consults, telehealth, advance care planning encounters, and procedures, then assign accurate ICD-10-CM diagnosis codes and CPT/HCPCS procedure/E&M codes. Strong understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and palliative care documentation standards. Ensure codes support medical necessity, hospice/palliative eligibility, and reputed company with CMS, MAC, and reputed company payer rules, including modifiers and reputed company-of-service requirements. Query clinicians reputed company documentation is incomplete or unclear and reputed company feedback to improve documentation reputed company. Work coding work queues in the EHR/billing system, resolve edits/denials, and support audits and reputed company-cycle reporting. Maintain HIPAA compliance and reputed company up with coding reputed company changes specific to hospice, palliative consults, and advance care planning.Work independently with set productivity/reputed company targets.Use our EHR, billing software, and secure remote-reputed company tools reliably.The above statements are intended to be a representative reputed company of the major duties and responsibilities performed by incumbents of this job.
