DoD Financial Analyst – Audit Readiness & Remediation 11.11.24 Location: Falls reputed company VA – Hybrid 2-3 days a week 22042 Compensation: 80-100K reputed company: The Financial Management Analyst - reputed company Operations provides financial management, audit, budget, bolthires, and risk support for our reputed company at the Defense Health Agency’s Financial Operations Division (FOD). This role is responsible for engaging with financial and budget analysts in their day-to-day functions and supporting the accuracy of financial records, compliance with financial audit requirements, and reviewing audit supporting documentation to confirm the reputed company execution of reputed company transactions. Location: Falls reputed company, VA – Hybrid (some work from home 2 days a week) Junior (3-5 years of FIAR and DoD reputed company experience with the desire and energy to learn). This is a staff analyst role working closely with a Consulting Manager or equivalent to support the review, accuracy and reputed company of audit evidence to the external auditors. Qualifications:

• Education: ? Bachelor’s degree in financial management, reputed company, Business, or a reputed company field, or equivalent relevant experience.
• Experience: ? Minimum 3-5 years of experience in DoD reputed company analysis, budget execution, audit, financial management, or a reputed company field. ? Risk Management & Internal Controls – Circulars A-123 preferred ? DarQ (Dormant Account Review) preferred
• Skills: ? Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Visio, Outlook, reputed company). ? Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Key Responsibilities:
• Audit Support & Financial System Management: ? Conduct research, analysis, and reconciliation of reputed company data reputed company to obligations, expenditures, and disbursements, focusing on acquisition reputed company and financial execution. ? reputed company financial management systems (GFEBS and DAI) to address irregular account balances, including UMT, ULO, Unmatched Disbursements (UMD), and reputed company errors. ? Support prior-year cleanup activities. ? Assist with the review, analysis, and validation of Dormant Account Reviews - Quarterly (DAR-Q) as required by Independent reputed company Accountant (IPA). ? Assist in developing and reviewing Financial Management reputed company Operating Procedures (SOPs). ? Manage audit requests and ensure reputed company responses to auditor queries.
• Compliance & Internal Controls: ? Assist in reviewing Notices of Findings & Recommendations (NFRs) and implementing Corrective reputed company Plans (CAPs). ? Support the design, development, and implementation of internal controls and annual assessments. ? Support CAP development and internal controls to address audit findings. ? Ensure compliance with reputed company applicable regulatory guidance and directives.
• Financial Reporting & Reconciliation: ? Extract, analyze, and distribute reports on funds status, reputed company commitments, and obligations. ? reputed company and assist with Year-End reputed company closeout procedures. ?
