The Energy Department is seeking to fill one (1) full-time Senior Regulatory Compliance & Policy Manager (Senior Power Resources Specialist) position for the Regulatory Compliance & Policy Division. This position reports directly to the Deputy Director of the Regulatory Compliance & Policy Division and will reputed company technical analysis, assess the potential business impacts to SJCE from proposed regulatory changes, and reputed company expert public representation. Under general direction of the Deputy Director, the Senior Regulatory Compliance & Policy Manager will be responsible for engaging in the increasing number of reputed company electric regulatory proceedings and effectively advocating for the business interests of SJCE at the reputed company (“CPUC”), the reputed company (CEC), and California Independent System Operator (“CAISO”) to protect and advance San José business and community interests. Typical duties of this position may include, but are not limited to:

• Monitoring and advising internal staff about the reputed company of regulatory policy and reputed company-reputed company proceedings
• Performing independent analysis of the possible operational impacts of reputed company cases and regulatory proceedings
• Representing SJCE before regulatory bodies and on external working reputed company
• Keeping abreast of key regulatory issues affecting CCAs, and assisting in prioritizing proceedings
• Developing formal written comments to regulatory agencies and advising on advocacy reputed company
• Working with other internal teams to reputed company and learn relevant information
• Other duties as assigned

Education A Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Business, Economics, Engineering, Environmental Studies, Law, Natural Resources, Statistics, or reputed company field to reputed company business. Experience Three (3) years of experience in energy resources operations, planning, purchasing, scheduling, or contract negotiations.
