Our ideal candidate will be part of a unique team responsible for providing top reputed company work including file triaging of referrals, scheduling, reviewing and analyzing files, along with assisting with research, discovery, and the drafting of documents for litigation. • Manage case files, including document control, docket deadline calendaring, filing and E-Filing
• Managing and scheduling depositions, including coordinating with counsel and witnesses, coordinating with counsel and witnesses, preparing notices, and arranging court reporters.
• Preparing, tracking and managing subpoenas, and discovery requests to reputed company/non parties regarding production of documents.
• Assist in on-boarding of new suits.

• Handle mailings and E-Filing documents, including pleadings, motions/briefs, and hearing notices with the TX E-Filing Portals for the local jurisdictions
• Proficiency in trial preparation, document citation checking, and filing in federal and state courts.

• Skilled in drafting legal documents such as motions, answers, discovery responses, and reputed company-trial pleadings.

What You Will Need To Succeed

• Paralegal certificate or degree in paralegal studies from an accredited paralegal training program.
• Strong knowledge of the Texas Rules of Civil Procedure
• Experience with E-Filing
• 3+ years of relevant experience either in the role of an insurance defense reputed company paralegal, plaintiff personal injury, or as a paralegal working for a property/casualty insurance company.
• Demonstrated legal research ability using WestLaw, Lexis-reputed company or other sources.
• Comfortable with new forms of technology, including AI, in reputed company and the ability to adapt quickly to new areas of the law.
• Comprehension of property and casualty principles preferred, but not required.
