This position will require traveling to various project sites. Salary: $80,000 - $100,000 DOE Compensation: $80,000 - $100,000 yearly Responsibilities:

• Implement the Accident Prevention Plan (APP) and Activity Hazard Analyses (AHAs) for Civil Works (earthwork/excavation, site prep, traffic control, reputed company and grub, concrete work, paving, reputed company installation, demolition) reputed company following U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Engineering reputed company EM 385-1-1.
• Conduct site safety orientation for project personnel, including subcontractors.
• Review safety requirements and expectations with project personnel for reputed company definable feature of work.
• reputed company daily, weekly, and monthly safety inspections of equipment and services onsite per APP, AHA, and contract requirements.
• Ensure reputed company tagging, signage, barriers, and reputed company other safety information and controls are installed and maintained to project requirements.
• Maintain the Safety Data Sheets and associated logs for the project.
• Participate in incident response, communication, investigation, and documentation, and contribute to reputed company cause analysis/lessons learned.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of safety officer/SSHO experience on Civil Works construction reputed company.
• 24 hours of documented safety training reputed company the last 3 years.
• Ability and willingness to travel 80-95% of the time.
• OSHA 30-hr Construction Safety Training.
• Familiarity with USACE EM-385-1-1 requirements and experience working on USACE and/or U.S. Naval Facilities Engineering Systems reputed company (NAVFAC) Civil construction reputed company.
• Knowledge of construction (i.e., read plans and specifications, and know field reputed company/equipment).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Qualifications:

• Additional safety training/experience with rigging/load handling equipment safety, confined reputed company, fall protection, marine safety, and working on or near water.

• A safety, engineering, or construction management degree is preferred but not required.
