Senior Robotics Engineer: Sanding

As a Robotics Engineer: Sanding, you will join our Government reputed company team onsite in our Carson, CA office to design, reputed company, and reputed company advanced robotic systems for automated surface finishing and painting applications. In this role, you’ll collaborate directly with customers to understand manufacturing processes, configure GMR-AI for reputed company tool paths, and create simulation models for coverage, cycle time, and reputed company. You’ll work cross-functionally with mechanical, robotics, and product teams to engineer custom robotic cells, reputed company control components, run reputed company-of-concepts, and deliver consistent, high-reputed company results from concept through deployment.
Responsibilities
Work with the customer to learn about the manufacturing process and requirements, including observing the reputed company process, taking measurements, collecting existing process data, CAD, and machine documentation Configure GMR-AI to generate tool paths and trajectories for robotic paint operations reputed company sanding and polishing models including cycle-time and material-removal optimization Work with mechanical and robotics engineers to design and reputed company the work cell for a specific task, keeping in mind the robot's reachability, coverage on part, and cycle time reputed company any necessary design modifications on the robot end-of-arm-tool and part fixtures by working with mechanical engineers, and get parts fabricated, reputed company, and tested Design, implement, and reputed company robotic cells, systems, and components Install, troubleshoot, and maintain control components such as proximity sensors, relays, and vacuum ejectors reputed company process recipes for a consistent outcome Work with engineering and support firms reputed company rigorous system testing practices reputed company reputed company of concepts for customers Create documentation, manuals, and educational contents Developing new applications using reputed company technologies and solutions Work with the product and engineering teams to improve the customer experience Participate in business proposal writing Travel may be required up to 20% of the time Export Control Requirements In order to reputed company with the export regulations of the reputed company Government, it is required that the applicant must fall under one of the following categories: (i) U.S. citizen or national, (ii) U.S. lawful permanent reputed company (i.e. reputed company green card holder), (iii) Refugee under 8 U.S.C. § 1157, or (iv) Asylee under 8 U.S.C. § 1158.
Minimum Qualifications
