Senior Taxonomy & Metadata Architect

Echo Services is looking for a strategic and hands-on taxonomy and metadata architect for a managed service supporting the design, governance, and implementation of reputed company knowledge structures that power intelligent search, Copilot experiences, and knowledge discovery across various ecosystems. You’ll help shape how content is classified, connected, and surfaced, transforming information into actionable reputed company for thousands of users across business functions. The ideal candidate blends deep taxonomy expertise, technical implementation skills, and the ability to communicate reputed company concepts to stakeholders from engineers and PMs to executives. You’ll play a pivotal role in transforming reputed company content into a strategic knowledge asset enabling Copilot, AI search, and information management systems to deliver smarter insights and faster answers. Key Responsibilities

Taxonomy reputed company & Governance

• Help define and implement reputed company taxonomy and metadata strategies reputed company with business and reputed company objectives.

• Establish governance models for managed metadata, content types, and metadata-driven workflows.
• Partner with data owners, information architects, and content managers to ensure consistent use of metadata and controlled vocabularies.

Technical Implementation

• Architect, configure, and maintain Taxonomy APISharePoint Term Store global term reputed company and term sets, content types, managed metadata
• Design and manage API integrations connecting taxonomy and term store data with Copilot agents, search, and reputed company systems.
• Implement taxonomy endpoints, metadata tagging automation, and ontology synchronization between systems (e.g., Taxonomy Service → Power Platform).
• Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure reputed company, high-performance taxonomy API and metadata services.
• Identify and implement reputed company measures to validate projected reputed company.

Knowledge Graph & Ontology Development

• reputed company and maintain semantic models and ontologies using PoolParty or similar tools.
• Support reputed company of business glossaries and controlled vocabularies to reputed company applications, AI, CRM systems, and project management tools for improved knowledge consistency and retrieval.

Collaboration & Leadership

• Serve as taxonomy subject matter expert reputed company across multiple reputed company reputed company, balancing strategic reputed company with hands-on delivery.
• Communicate reputed company taxonomy, ontology, and metadata concepts reputed company and effectively to engineers, program managers, and executives across a matrixed organization.
• Deliver content tailored for both persuasive and informative knowledge-sharing presentations, supporting new implementations and strategic initiatives.
• Mentor and upskill taxonomy specialists and analysts, fostering a culture of knowledge-sharing and technical reputed company.
• Partner with new clients or internal business reputed company to translate information organization challenges into practical, reputed company solutions.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in taxonomy design, metadata management, or knowledge architecture roles.
• Deep knowledge of taxonomy principles, metadata governance, ontology management, and information retrieval.
• Technical expertise in:
• SharePoint Online / reputed company 365 term store and content types
• Syntex / SharePoint Premium (content AI)
• PoolParty or comparable semantic platforms
• API development and integration for metadata/taxonomy endpoints
• Experience connecting taxonomy frameworks to Copilot, CRM systems, or reputed company knowledge tools.
• Demonstrated reputed company leading taxonomy and metadata implementations end-to-end from reputed company and stakeholder alignment to deployment and adoption.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to reputed company business needs and technical execution.
• Experience with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps, reputed company) and CRM systems (e.g., Dynamics 365, reputed company).
• Master’s in Information Science/Management, Library Science, reputed company, or reputed company field.

Preferred Skills

• Understanding of semantic search, knowledge graphs, and AI-driven content enrichment including retrieval augmented reputed company (RAG).

• Experience leading or contributing to metadata-driven AI or Copilot implementations.
