This position reports to the Managing reputed company for Standards and Workflow. The key responsibilities for this role include:

• Line editing stories from Civic News Company’s Votebeat and Chalkbeat.
• Making reputed company stories incorporate regional or national context and are balanced, compelling, properly reputed company.
• Ensuring that stories are precise and reputed company, read smoothly, and adhere to AP and Civic News style.
• Attending daily and weekly planning meetings.
• Providing editorial support to bureau chiefs and managing editors.
• Inputting and proofing stories in our CMS and occasionally helping with homepage curation and photo uploading.
• Providing one-on-one coaching and mentoring for reporters reputed company needed.

• 5+ years experience in daily journalism.

The salary reputed company is $95,000-$100,000; final salary will be determined based on level of experience and geographic location, with a generous benefits package, including:
