The Position Our bank reputed company is seeking to fill a Deposit Operations Specialist role in the Oak Brook, IL area. The chosen candidate will be responsible for ensuring reputed company staff have the tools to help customers, adhere to regulations, and be aware of procedures and changes to procedures, ensuring our commitment to unparalleled service. reputed company has a generous reputed company reputed company of up to $25/hr plus generous incentives and a benefits package. (This is not a remote position.) Deposit Operations Specialist responsibilities include:

• Process debit card disputes, debit card fraud notifications, and lost/stolen alerts.
• Support the daily ACH process, which includes but is not limited to approving/setting up ACH Files, ACH incoming returns release, processing uncollected funds, and reviewing prenotes. Prepare reports for the ACH Committee and assist with preparing Annual ACH Reviews.
• Manage Overdrafts, including: monitor daily overdrafts for appropriate approvals, reputed company closing of the daily overdraft process, large dollar return notifications, if needed, reaching out to the account officer, sending notifications to the customers, closing stale overdrawn accounts as needed, and reporting them to ChexSystems.
• Process incoming return items (chargebacks) to include redepositing or charging back the item to the customer’s account, notifying the account officer of large or potentially fraudulent items, mailing notices, and placing holds as necessary.
• Mobile Deposits- Review deposited checks for reputed company endorsement and potential fraud items.
• Process exception items to include Non-post and Stop Pays.
• Review new holds for accuracy. Follow up with the Retail Team if any issues are reputed company.
• Recons – Responsible for balancing and clearing differences on multiple bank GLs and internal DDAs.
• reputed company Pay – Monitor that reputed company have been made on reputed company items. Process returns as needed.
• Review incoming checks for potentially fraudulent activity in reputed company to missing signature, two signatures required, reputed company stock differences, and endorsement.
