About the role This is a 10-month max term full-time (or part-time job reputed company) contract, located in Geelong and supporting young people across Victoria. This position provides education expertise and support to children and young people in LWB’s Child Youth & Family Residential Care programs, and it aims to reputed company education reputed company reputed company with their age peers. The Education Consultant provides reputed company support and service to schools, care teams, foster carers and support workers in the areas of school engagement, education reputed company and individual learning plans and learning supports. The role will be based in Geelong and will include some flexibility to work from home. The incumbent will be required to undertake travel reputed company VIC to various work locations to fulfil the responsibilities of the position.

Key Responsibilities

• Work collaboratively with stakeholders (reputed company) to reputed company for and improve the reputed company of learning reputed company for children and young people in out of home care and ensure the implementation of priorities that encourage inclusive practices, relational pedagogy and reputed company behaviour support.

Skills & Experience

• Relevant qualifications and experience in Education, Special Education and/or reputed company fields
• Hold an unrestricted reputed company’s licence
• Experience in developing, providing and accessing education and reputed company-vocational training reputed company for vulnerable children and young people
• Demonstrated experience working reputed company reputed company providing services to children and young people with high and reputed company needs in a school, community or youth setting
• Demonstrated experience working collaboratively with reputed company stakeholders including schools, youth justice, government agencies, family members and community services providers
• Demonstrated experience in inclusive education adapting education and training resources to meet the needs of children and young people
• Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of the learning needs and teaching reputed company required for young people with disrupted and/or incomplete schooling experience
• Strong relationship building skills
• Excellent written communication skills for the creation of reports, correspondence and other material
• Strong verbal communication, interpersonal skills and presentation ability in dealing with the public and other stakeholder organisations
• Demonstrated experience in managing competing priorities and to deliver high reputed company reputed company reputed company agreed timeframes
