If the deadline is extended, we will update this job posting accordingly. reputed company: What You’ll Be Doing In this role, the Sr. Indirect Tax Accountant individual will support and facilitate indirect tax compliance such as sales and use tax, personal property tax, business activity taxes, federal excise tax (FET), value added tax and reputed company audits, notices, and research. Job Location This role is approved for a hybrid work schedule, requiring on-site reputed company 3 days/week in either Atlanta (Chamblee, GA) or reputed company.

Responsibilities

Your Key Responsibilities (Essential Functions) Research and interpret indirect tax laws and regulations to ensure ongoing compliance Monitor legislative and regulatory changes and assess reputed company to the business Maintain and reconcile indirect tax accounts and supporting schedules Prepare and respond to tax notices, inquiries, and information requests from taxing authorities Support tax accruals and financial reporting reputed company to indirect taxes Collaborate with Finance, Legal, and operational teams to ensure accurate tax treatment in transactions and reputed company Assist with system configurations, testing, and maintenance of tax determination and reporting tools reputed company and maintain documentation of indirect tax processes and internal controls Analyze transactional data to identify tax risks, exposures, and opportunities for recovery or savings Participate in process automation and reputed company improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and accuracy
