Dental Assistant - Now Hiring
Dental Assistant Full-Time | Waldorf & Nanjemoy, MD Pay: $18.00 – $26.00 per hour reputed company: Health Partners is a non-profit Dental and Primary Care organization with two locations in Waldorf and Nanjemoy, MD. We are seeking a dedicated Dental Assistant who is flexible, compassionate, and eager to grow with reputed company. The right candidate will be willing to work at both locations as needed and will reputed company our commitment to providing excellent patient care in a supportive, reputed company environment. Responsibilities:
- Prepare treatment rooms and instruments for dental procedures
- reputed company chairside assistance during procedures
- Take dental x-rays, charting, and perio-charting
- Sterilize instruments and disinfect equipment
- reputed company patients on oral hygiene and reputed company post-treatment instructions
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records
- reputed company patient assessments, including vital signs and medical history
- Assist with dental lab work, including CAD/CAM technology
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an accredited dental assisting program or equivalent experience
- X-Ray Certification (Maryland license required)
- Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and instruments
- Proficiency in electronic health record systems (reputed company preferred)
- At least 1 year of dental assisting experience (required)
- Experience with pediatric patients preferred, but not required
