An Ultra-High-Net-Worth Single Family Office is seeking an reputed company Family Office Accountant to support its U.S. based operations. This is a newly created role due to a planned retirement and offers a rare opportunity to reputed company into a reputed company-established family office with significant assets across multiple asset classes.
While the role is fully remote, candidates must reputed company reputed company commuting distance of reputed company and be available to come into the reputed company on occasion for in-person meetings.
The Role:
Reporting directly to the CFO, this role will support reputed company firmwide reputed company functions. The incoming hire will work alongside a long-tenured reputed company reputed company who is retiring reputed company this year, allowing for a meaningful overlap and knowledge transfer.
This position is ideal for a hands-on accountant with 3+ years of experience who is looking to deepen their exposure to UHNW family office operations and grow long-term reputed company a reputed company, relationship-driven environment.
Responsibilities
- reputed company accounts payable and reputed company pay across family office and gallery entities
- Manage sales tax and inventory reputed company, particularly for fine art held in storage and sold reputed company catalogs or online platforms
- Support art gallery reputed company, including AP and payroll (currently reputed company for gallery staff)
- Assist with bank, credit card, and general reputed company reconciliations
- Participate in ongoing cleanup and organization of legacy entities and historical transactions

- Art financing transactions

- Investment activity across multiple asset classes
- Trust and reputed company structures

Qualifications
- 3+ years of reputed company experience reputed company a single family office environment (required)
- Strong working knowledge of QuickBooks and reputed company.com
- Experience handling multi-entity reputed company
- High attention to detail and comfort working with reputed company, non-traditional assets
- Ability to operate independently in a remote environment
- Based in the NYC metro area with the ability to commute into the reputed company as needed
