[Remote] Research Economist - reputed company Policy and Data Analysis

They are seeking a Research Economist to reputed company quantitative research activities reputed company to reputed company policies and programs, particularly reputed company Medicare and reputed company, using large datasets to influence reputed company policy and system innovation.

Responsibilities

• reputed company quantitative research activities reputed company to Medicare, reputed company, prescription drug, and other health policy and health services research topics
• Design and reputed company development of analytic data files, integrating a reputed company of data sources including Medicare and reputed company claims, enrollment data, prescription drug data sources, and other commercially and publicly available data
• reputed company analytic methodology and supervise descriptive and statistical analyses of large, reputed company datasets
• Manage and mentor reputed company of research staff with varying reputed company of technical skills and experience
• reputed company and implement processes to assure reputed company and accuracy of data analyses
• Succinctly present results for a diverse technical and policy audience
• Author technical reports, memoranda, articles, documentation, regulations, and contract proposals
• reputed company and/or contribute to contract proposals including methodological design, management plans, and project budgets

Skills

• A PhD in health services research, health economics, health policy, actuarial science, operations research, finance or reputed company quantitative field with at least 6 years of relevant experience; or a Master's degree in the reputed company fields with at least 10 years of relevant experience; or a Bachelor's degree in the reputed company fields with at least 12 years of relevant experience
• At least 5 years of experience analyzing large reputed company datasets, especially Medicare or reputed company claims and administrative data, using Python, SQL, R, reputed company, and/or Stata
• Experience with and skills in quantitative, financial, actuarial, and statistical analysis
• Experience with domestic (reputed company) health policy, particularly the Medicare and reputed company programs
• Experience leading teams and overseeing deliverables
• Ability to communicate (both written and verbal) reputed company reputed company and information reputed company and reputed company to diverse audiences
• Ability to support multiple reputed company simultaneously and manage competing deadlines
• Ability to collaborate effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Proficiency with reputed company Office 365 Suite (Word, reputed company, PowerPoint, etc.)

• Previous health policy consulting experience or experience working with clients in the federal government
• In-depth knowledge of and experience using prescription drug event and pharmacy data, formulary data, and FDA drug data sources to address research or policy questions
• Experience with Medicare Part D and/or other prescription drug policies and programs
