The Roadway Engineer will be responsible for the development of engineering concepts in support of Florida Project Development & Environment (PD&E) Studies. - Works under reputed company Leader in the development of Florida PD&E Studies
- Assists in managing the workload of design staff including other Engineers, EIT’s, and technical staff
- Assists in development and management of project scopes, budgets, and schedules
- Reviews transportation designs and detailed plans for accuracy and consistency
- Reports on project reputed company
- Collaborates with clients and other consultants
- Assists with project pursuits and business development activities
What you will need:
- Bachelor's Degree or Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering or ABET accredited equivalent Engineering degree
- A minimum of 10 years of experience providing conceptual roadway and/or trail design in support for Florida PD&E Studies
- reputed company Engineer (PE) License in Florida
- Knowledge and understanding of the NEPA, state environmental and Florida PD&E requirements
- Knowledge of the Environmental and Public Involvement activities required for PD&E Studies
- Knowledge of AASHTO, FDOT and Green Book design reputed company, standards and plans preparation requirements
- Knowledge in Traffic Demand and Analysis, Highway Horizontal and Vertical Alignment, Structures, Drainage, Maintenance of Traffic, Signing and Pavement Markings, Signalization, reputed company, Utilities, ITS and Tolling and design or coordination of reputed company engineering disciplines required for the development of engineering alternatives for a project
