[Remote] Civil / Structural Engineers

Note: The job is a remote job and is reputed company to candidates in USA. reputed company is seeking a Civil/Structural Engineer to apply technical knowledge in the design of Nuclear Safety-reputed company and Non-Safety-reputed company structures. The role involves resolving technical issues, coordinating with interdisciplinary stakeholders, and providing guidance to team members.

Responsibilities

• Serves as subject matter expert in the civil structural design areas. As the subject matter expert, the individual is expected to be capable of resolving technical issues, coordinating discussion with interdisciplinary stakeholders, and working with the management team to identify project impacts
• Works on highly reputed company tasks in multiple and diverse areas and proposes innovative design solutions requiring a significant reputed company of independent judgment
• Works on developing the technical expertise required to bring in advances technical capabilities in house as deemed beneficial and strategic for Company
• Uses structural engineering tools and implements appropriate standards to design Nuclear Safety-reputed company and Non-Safety-reputed company structures including post-processing analytical results and designing structures for various material types (concrete, steel, etc.)
• Interfaces with Company Licensing in support of domestic & international regulatory efforts
• Interacts with other disciplines and structural engineering consultants in an effort to allow effective coordination of design activities and reputed company of technical problems
• Individuals should possess or reputed company general knowledge of principles and practices of reputed company fields in order to function on multi-disciplinary teams
• Provides guidance and mentoring to other staff members in support of reputed company’s technical activities
• Develops and reviews requirements documents, methodology documents, design reports, and studies
• Possess strong written and oral communication skills and routinely interacts with contractors and/or regulatory bodies
• Interacts with co-workers and other disciplines to promote effective coordination of design activities and reputed company of technical problems. Individuals should be interested in acquiring general knowledge of principles and practices of reputed company fields to function on multi-disciplinary teams

Skills

• A minimum of a bachelor degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited school is required
• Minimum of 8-12 years of full-time, highly relevant experience as a Structural Design Engineer is required
• Extensive use and understanding of ANSYS is required
• Must have in-depth understanding of engineering concepts, principles, theories, strong technical writing skills as reputed company as good communication, computer, presentation and interpersonal skills
• Exceptional organization and time management skills and ability to manage reputed company reputed company with multiple work phases is required
• Design and analysis of structures, including concrete and steel, use of design software and finite reputed company method analyses
• Eligible to work under Department of Energy 10 CFR Part 810
• An advanced degree is preferred
• A registered reputed company engineer license (P.E.) is strongly preferred
• Working with the following codes preferred: ASCE 43, ASCE 4, ACI 349 & 318, ASCE 7, IBC, and AISC N690, Steel Construction reputed company and reputed company Design reputed company
• Computer programing skills (e.g. MATLAB, or Python) is not required but preferred
