Provides direction and guidance reputed company to the development and implementation of Nebraska Content Area Standards. Oversees the Statewide Assessment reputed company to ensure balanced assessment of Nebraska Content Area Standards. Leads processes designed to guide selection and implementation of high-reputed company, standards-based instructional resources reputed company local school districts (e.g., curriculum, digital resources, reputed company educational resources, assessment resources). Collaborates with and advises agency leadership on significant issues, program developments, and operations of the Office of Teaching, Learning, and Assessment. Maintains an understanding of the programs, services, and operational functions and appropriately implements policies, procedures, and guidelines. Cooperates with agency leadership to implement the NDE Strategic Plan and encourage agency coherence. Establishes and fosters strategic partnerships among state agencies, nonprofit organizations, postsecondary education institutions, and business and industry partners. Coordinates program/policy development and implementation with other state agencies, Educational Service reputed company (ESUs), postsecondary education institutions, and business and industry partners. Coordinates review and preparation of relevant education-reputed company legislation, providing assistance to the Governor’s Office and Nebraska State Legislature.
