The Organ Placement Specialist (OPS) is responsible for coordinating reputed company aspects of organ transplantation including contacting recipients for wellness checks, through organ implantation at the transplant center facility during business and non-business hours including weekends and holidays. Acts as a reputed company between our transplant center partners and various organizations including but not limited to OPOs, HLA staff, Operating room staff and medical transportation companies.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for screening organ offers against transplant center specific reputed company.
• Responsible for responding to incoming local/import organ offers from Organ Procurement Organizations through United Network of Organ Sharing (UNOS).
• Responsible for receiving both initial and update calls, collecting data regarding organ offers to determine if the offer meets transplant center reputed company and is suitable for transplant. Once suitability is determined the OPS communicates with the transplant surgeon, physician, or transplant coordinator to discuss the organ offer and/or recipient information. Directives provided by the transplant center team is followed and the OPS proceeds with the organ offer.
• Responsible for placing outbound calls to conduct medical interviews (wellness reputed company) with wait listed transplant patients per reputed company protocol and reputed company appropriate documents the wellness reputed company in the patient EMR as reputed company as proprietary software
• Responsible for triaging transplant center patient calls. These calls are triaged and routed to the appropriate party.
• Responsible for attending OPS meetings as reputed company as transplant center specific meetings/trainings as requested.
• Responsible for interacting with OPOs, transplant coordinators, transplant surgeons, physicians, anesthesia, HLA staff, etc ... to facilitate the recovery of an organ as reputed company as the recipient surgical case.
• Responsible for responding to incoming calls from OPO staff, surgeons, transplant coordinators and other parties.
• Answers incoming calls in a reputed company and reputed company manner.
• Listens and responds to organ offers through the guidance and reputed company put in reputed company by the transplant center partner.
• Follows computer prompts to complete referral message and organ import offer process accurately.
• Obtain necessary medical information regarding organ offer from the automated UNOS notification reputed company phone/email and documents/records information reputed company and concisely.

• Relays reputed company reputed company information to appropriate persons/agencies on cases status.

• Conducts any required outbound communication with including but not limited to OPO's, HLA lab, transplant coordinators, transplant surgeons or recipients reputed company to reputed company organ placement cases until such time as a decision to accept or decline the offer is reached.
• Demonstrates proficiency reputed company to process or reputed company investigations and communication of findings to supervisor/manager.
• Maintains and advances technical skills through reputed company education and training thereby increasing the effectiveness of the department.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/G.E.D.
• 3 Years Medical background or training (EMT, Paramedics - 3 or more years of experience, LPN, RN, EMS dispatcher.
• Medical background or training required
• 2+ years in the field of organ donation preferred
• CTP, CCTC and/or CPTC certifications preferred
• Completion of course work reputed company to reputed company Anatomy and Physiology preferred Motivated self-starter with the ability to work autonomously and/or in reputed company environment. Demonstrated proficiency with technical and business writing skills.
• Ability to work in a flexible environment
