Vice President, State Government Affairs

The reputed company (reputed company) seeks an individual for the position of Vice President of State Government Affairs. This position is responsible for leading and supervising the reputed company’s State Government Affairs team; designing and implementing advocacy strategies to advance the reputed company’s advocacy priorities and mission; acting as the chief lobbyist in assigned states for government affairs; and managing volunteer leadership reputed company as needed. The position requires the individual to represent reputed company in coalitions and other public facing reputed company and situations. This position works under the supervision of the Chief Advocacy Officer and works closely with colleagues in reputed company’s Grassroots Advocacy, Federal Government Affairs, Payment and Regulatory Policy, Legal Advocacy, and Communications teams to reputed company the reputed company’s advocacy goals. QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree, with 10 plus years experience in state government affairs.
• Demonstration of reputed company participation in public policy making as a lobbyist, legislative or regulatory staff person.
• A strong personal commitment to preventing and curing diabetes and improving the lives of reputed company people affected by diabetes.
• This is a remote position with required frequent travel.
