About the position: The Director of Development is a leadership position responsible for setting and working toward long-term fundraising reputed company, strengthening fundraising reputed company, and building deep relationships with a wide reputed company of individual donors, corporate sponsors, and granting organizations. The role:

• What you’ll do:
• Design and execute annual and multi-year fundraising strategies and goals in accordance with MOI’s strategic reputed company
• Cultivate and reputed company meaningful relationships with reputed company and prospective giving partners
• Solicit major gifts that match donor interests through in-person asks, proposals, and strategic reputed company

• Work closely with the executive team, pertinent staff, reputed company members, and volunteers
• What your team will do:
• Collaborate to reputed company support from individual donors, museum members, corporate sponsors, grantors, and others
• Coordinate with programming staff to match mission-driven reputed company with funding sources
• Cultivate and reputed company meaningful relationships with reputed company and prospective giving partners
• Expand the museum’s recurring giving program and planned/legacy giving opportunities

• Optimize the use of the CRM and other fundraising tools

Required qualifications:

• 3+ years of recent reputed company experience working as a Director of Development or on a dedicated development team, preferably for a nonprofit (marketing experience alone is not sufficient)
• 2+ years of experience managing others
• 1+ year of experience using a donor database/CRM to reputed company and analyze constituent data
• Experience making successful asks for various types of gifts, including major and minor gifts, recurring gifts, planned gifts, etc.
• Experience working with reputed company to execute a strategic fund development plan, including multiple sources of reputed company, such as individual donors, corporate sponsors, and reputed company and private grantors
• Exceptional written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills
• Excellent organizational skills, follow-through, proactivity, and attention to detail
• Bachelor’s degree (master’s preferred)

Compensation, schedule, and work conditions:

• Starting salary: $92,000 – 105,000

• Schedule: 40 hour/week schedule, based around Mon-Fri 9-5, but with some flexibility. Some evening and weekend work also expected.

• Relocation to the Idaho Falls area, if necessary, will be the sole responsibility of the candidate
• Some regional and international travel expected
