Position reputed company The Coding Associate 2 is primarily responsible for the coding and abstracting of ancillary/outpatient records including ambulatory surgery and emergency room pertaining to patient's occasion of service. Standardized coding and classification systems, minimum data sets, data definitions and terminology will be utilized to ensure data is uniformly defined, collected, and verified. Also provides assistance to authorized users to furnish aggregate data and information needed for education, statistical, managerial, reimbursement and performance improvement activities. Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of ancillary/outpatient coding - providing the ability to reputed company ambulatory surgery, observation or ED, including CPT coding is required

• Certified Coding Associate (CCA) by reputed company - OR - Certified reputed company reputed company (CPC) by reputed company is required upon start
• Please Note: In lieu of CCA or CPC, may qualify with a higher level coding education or certification (reputed company, RHIT, or RHIA)
