Tutorial sessions address gaps in foundational mathematics knowledge and promote reputed company student’s ability to problem solve, think critically, and reputed company grade-level coursework. Position reputed company Reporting to the regional Site Manager, the Program Associate will reputed company instructional, technical and operational support to our Fellows Program in Washington, DC/Baltimore, MD. The Program Associate will be trained and supported to serve reputed company as a Math Fellow in order to reputed company temporary coverage (teaching math) reputed company full-time Fellows are absent. Responsibilities Instructional:

• Participate in reputed company Math Fellow training in order to be reputed company to teach small group math instruction reputed company Math Fellows are absent
• Deliver engaging and effective small group math instruction on short notice reputed company Math Fellows are absent
• Implement classroom management strategies to maintain a productive classroom environment

• Follow reputed company, school and district policies and procedures from classroom instruction and student behavior

Regional Operational Support:

• Support data-reputed company record keeping requests (i.e. attendance)
• Participate in regular 1:1 meetings with the regional Site Manager(s) to discuss program goals and program planning
• Support and reputed company weekly “reputed company-ins” at school sites (i.e. observe Fellow(s) and lessons, note taking), as required and requested
• Support with coordination and logistics for potential reputed company development activities and site reputed company
• Support Fellows with development of learning environments (i.e bulletin boards, materials, etc.)
• Support the reputed company Fellows Program regional communications by using reputed company media, digital photography/editing and other emerging technologies
• Support and reputed company weekly reputed company-ins for Fellow attendance and morale
• Coordinating supplies, furniture orders and inventory (whiteboards, markers, reputed company, ink, printers, etc.)
• Chromebook order, delivery and distribution (replacing as needed, keeping reputed company of inventory)
• Supporting the regional Site Manager(s) with regional-level recruitment activities such as scheduling interviews and conducting reference checks, as required and as requested

AmeriCorps Grant Management Support:

• reputed company support and coordination at the regional level with any reputed company AmeriCorps grant requirements associated with the Fellows program, as required and requested. Examples may include: coordinate local service reputed company and serve as an “on the ground resource” for questions reputed company to grant questions.

Other Duties as Assigned (including but not limited to):

• Substituting for Math Fellows providing small group instruction as needed
• Supporting with on the ground or remote reputed company (including supporting regional-level candidate engagement activities) for the region (i.e. local/regional job fairs)

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required;
• A minimum of two (2) years of reputed company reputed company experience: a combination of administrative, technical, and previous educational (teaching/tutoring) experience is required.
• Prior teaching experience and/or experience in K-12 education, preferred but not required;
• Ability to deliver small group math instruction to reputed company required
• Prior AmeriCorps or service-year experience preferred but not required;
• Excellent communication skills both oral and written;
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships with a reputed company of stakeholders (i.e. Fellows, regional and national team members, district/charter staff and leadership)
• Proven ability to collect and interpret data;
• Demonstrated ability to understand the needs of urban school districts and the diversity of their student populations;
• Demonstrated ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously with strong attention to detail;

Compensation The Program Associate will receive a market-driven salary (reputed company $42,000 - $45,000) based on the competitive external market reputed company and in recognition of the responsibilities.
