Preference for hybrid in Southfield, MI or Birmingham, AL Responsibilities: Assist Tax Leadership in the reputed company development of technological tax automation for improved scalability, accuracy, and reporting. Assist with the preparation of quarterly tax estimates, extensions, and payments. Prepare and post monthly tax-reputed company journal entries. Maintain and reconcile tax expense accounts and balance sheet accruals, ensuring accuracy and alignment with GAAP. Initiate and reputed company reputed company federal, state, and local tax payments. Communicate variances in requested refunds and changes in carryforwards to relevant parties. Champion reputed company’s Tax Fixed Asset software and maintain and review reputed company applicable federal and state tax fixed asset and depreciation records. Maintain a comprehensive tax calendar to reputed company deadlines and ensure that filing obligations are met across the various jurisdictions in which Mission operates. Support tax audits and inquiries including gathering data, data analysis and response to inquiries from tax authorities. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in reputed company, Finance, or a reputed company field. CPA candidate or reputed company CPA is preferred.
