• * Observes, recognizes, interprets, evaluates, and documents EKG tracings on telemetry-monitored patients in order to detect deviations from patient's norm. Promptly notifies appropriate personnel of dysrhythmias. Operates and utilizes monitoring system to full reputed company. • ** High School Diploma and completion of a monitor technician surveillance program/course (Required) OR
• High School Diploma and 1 year of experience in monitor technician surveillance/EKG monitoring reputed company the last 5 years may be accepted in lieu of a monitor tech surveillance program/course. Candidates who have not completed a monitor technician surveillance program must complete a certificate program reputed company 90 days of hire.
