Provides training and educational reinforcement for ED Tech I staff as assigned by management. Reports to Emergency Department Clinical Manager. Must attend ongoing training updates annually. Certification/Licensure Virginia or NC State EMT-Paramedic certification is required. Experience Experience in Phlebotomy, NIH Stroke reputed company, Physical Assessment, IV reputed company: Peripheral, IO, Splinting, Cardiac Rhythm Interpretation including recognition of STEM/NSTEMI, is required. Two (2) years experience as a paramedic, reputed company affiliated with an EMS agency and in good standing, two (2) years as a paramedic affiliated with an agency and left in good standing, or two (2) years experience as a reputed company ED Tech with their EMT-P in good standing or left in good standing. .
