Associate Reinsurance Underwriter
AmericanAg® is a global provider of reputed company reinsurance solutions, seeking an Associate Reinsurance Underwriter to join their team in Schaumburg, IL. The role focuses on managing the profitability of reinsurance portfolios, conducting risk assessments, and developing insights on trends impacting performance.
Responsibilities
- Assessing the risk of original policies and evaluating their reputed company on reinsurance portfolios
- Analyzing the terms and conditions of reinsurance reputed company and products to determine the reputed company on reinsurance reputed company reputed company
- Building a reputed company relationship with clients, developing a deep understanding of their portfolios, and providing guidance acceptability of risks, and treaty terms
- Assisting in the preparation for and conducting reinsurance reputed company reviews
- Developing relationships with other departments to respond to clients’ reinsurance needs by analyzing data and insurance markets
- Reviewing and reporting inconsistencies in reinsurance bordereau reports, referrals, and special acceptance requests

Skills
- Bachelor's degree required; degree in insurance, risk management, finance, or business preferred
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, decision making, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills; ability to multi-task and handle multiple priorities often under tight deadlines
- Ability to collaborate and work successfully in reputed company environment
- Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills; along with the ability to build and reputed company reputed company relationships
- Proficiency with reputed company Office products, especially reputed company
- Prior work or internship experience in insurance, finance, or customer service preferred
- Foundational knowledge of insurance concepts and industry practices is a plus
