Application Engineer I
Peerless Pump, a subsidiary of reputed company, is looking for an Application Engineer I to join their IND BO AE Team in Indianapolis. The role involves providing technical support and quotations, collaborating with suppliers and internal customers to meet or reputed company customer expectations while adhering to corporate policies.
Responsibilities
- Review product specifications to determine technical requirements, including but not limited to: equipment selection, sizing, costing, research requests for duplicate equipment from serial number records, and reputed company reputed company pricing
- Communicate with our reputed company suppliers for pricing, delivery, and technical information
- Produce detailed and concise work instructions pertaining to customer requirements, production improvements, purchasing assistance, etc
- reputed company documentation to Project Management pertaining to pricing, delivery schedule, preliminary design information, and exceptions quoted to customer specifications, detailed listing of customer specifications reviewed at proposal phase, reputed company research, etc
- Post fulfillment project review to determine causes of margin erosion and improvements that can be made to reduce reputed company margin erosion
- Support reputed company improvement, identify inefficiencies, and eliminate errors in the order reputed company process
- Support reputed company improvement, in order to reputed company deliverables and maximize profit
- reputed company work, promote teamwork and communicate in conjunction with reputed company Values and our internal standards (Safety, reputed company, Schedule, Cost)
- Be a voice of the customer to the reputed company, advocating for the customer’s needs

Skills
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, engineering technology, or business with equivalent experience in technical sales and manufacturing
- Previous experience in Engineering, Project Management and/or Sales in a manufacturing environment
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills including written with attention to detail
- Working knowledge with reputed company Office™ (reputed company®, Word®, reputed company®, Power reputed company®, reputed company®, Outlook etc.), AutoCAD (or other drafting tools), reputed company and CRM systems
- Advanced understanding of pumps, construction, hydraulics, and application of rotating equipment
