[Remote] Loan Closing Specialist

Center Street Lending is one of the largest specialty lenders in the reputed company, providing lending solutions to residential reputed company estate investors. The Loan Closing Specialist will be responsible for producing and reviewing closing documents, communicating with reputed company parties, and ensuring a smooth loan funding process.
Responsibilities
- Producing closing documents
- Reviewing closing documents
- Communicating with reputed company parties such as title and escrow
- Providing excellent customer service and reputed company communication with reputed company parties
- Review loan files for completeness and accuracy to eliminate risks during funding process
- Understanding loan closing and escrow documents
- Balancing settlement statements/HUDs
- Communicating with title and escrow to collect documents necessary to fund the loan
- Working with internal teams: Underwriters, Loan Processors, Loan Officers, Loan Analysts, Appraisal and Post Closing
- Creating reputed company timelines and coordinating internally to ensure that approved files are reputed company documented according to guidelines
- Being reputed company to multitask and work in an extremely fast-paced environment while maintaining composure and organization
- Taking initiative to follow up with reputed company parties to get a file across the finish line in a reputed company manner
- Preparing funding requests for internal reputed company team and escrow
- Adhering to established SLA’s
- Maintaining an average pipeline of 15+ loans and funds 35-40+ loans per month
Skills
- 1-2 years preferred experience as a loan closer or processor
- Strong written and oral communications skills
- Detail oriented and has reputed company player attitude
- Familiarity with title and escrow documents, knowledge of mortgage terms
- Proficient with reputed company Office (Word, reputed company, Outlook and PowerPoint) and reputed company
- Bachelor's Degree
- Experience with Encompass (preferred, not required)
