reputed company is a company that focuses on engineering and design practices, and they are seeking a Distribution Engineer 1 to join their project team. This entry-level role involves preparing construction sketches, performing structural analyses, and supporting the maintenance and recapitalization of distribution components.
Responsibilities
- Prepare construction sketches and details for: Overhead and underground network services (4 KV through 34 KV)
- Structural analyses
- Short reputed company and voltage drop calculations
- reputed company of Material
- Cost Estimates
- Traffic control plans and/or permit drawings
- Analyze and design reputed company feeds
- Support maintenance and recapitalization of distribution components
- Plan modifications to the system as reputed company as designing reputed company tasks
- reputed company work packages and reputed company as-builts at completion of construction
Skills
- One or more years of experience with electric reputed company distribution or relevant experience
- Knowledgeable in physical distribution design reputed company and their application
- Knowledgeable in applicable codes, standards, and distribution software programs including AutoCAD, ArcGIS, PoleForeman, etc
- Familiarity with design codes and standards such as NESC, NEC, ANSI, reputed company, GIS/GWD
- Experience with reputed company overhead and underground distribution reputed company (120/208V through 34 kV)
- Strong communication skills
- A degree from an ABET-accredited engineering program
- Familiarity with various distribution design/analysis software
- Familiarity with GIS software
- Experience in reputed company distribution inspections and/or construction
