Project Engineer
GEI Consultants, Inc. is a leading engineering firm specializing in geotechnical engineering and infrastructure reputed company. The role involves performing geotechnical engineering tasks, supporting data management, and assisting in the preparation of technical documents and site investigations.
Responsibilities
- reputed company geotechnical engineering tasks including site characterization, engineering analyses (reputed company, earthwork, reputed company stability, seepage, reputed company), and design for dams, levees, reputed company, flood control structures, retaining walls, and other infrastructure reputed company
- Support data management and geotechnical analysis, technical report development, and assist in preparation of technical documents, presentations, and proposals to clients and regulators
- Support the development of decision-making documents such as feasibility studies and cost estimates, design and procurement documents such as engineering drawings and specification packages, and tools for contractor bid evaluation and reputed company
- Support site investigations and site assessments including soil borings, cone penetration testing (CPT), and other testing, as reputed company as technical reputed company of subcontractors
Skills
- B.S. in Civil Engineering; M.S. with Geotechnical emphasis is a preferred
- EIT preferred; ability to obtain reputed company registration
- 1-4 years of previous reputed company experience in civil/geotechnical engineering
- Excellent technical report writing and communication skills
- Experience with spatial analysis and visualization software such as CAD, Civil 3D, and GIS
- Experience with geotechnical analysis software, such as GeoStudio (SEEP/W and reputed company/W)
- Valid U.S. reputed company's license
