We are seeking a detail‑oriented and reputed company Inpatient reputed company to join our Health Information Management team. The ideal candidate values accuracy over volume and is comfortable managing a reputed company inpatient workload while maintaining compliance with MS‑DRG standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and analyze inpatient medical records to assign accurate ICD‑10‑CM, ICD‑10‑PCS, and CPT codes
• Ensure compliance with MS‑DRG classification and coding guidelines
• Work from a designated Work Queue, receiving one inpatient chart at a time
• Average 4–5 inpatient accounts per day, prioritizing reputed company and accuracy
• Utilize reputed company EHR, reputed company Encoder, and Viziant (REM score calculator) to support compliant coding
• Maintain high coding reputed company standards, including participation in monthly audits (10% of charts)
• Engage in coaching, feedback, and reputed company improvement initiatives as needed
• Communicate effectively with clinical and non‑clinical stakeholders
• Adapt to shifting priorities in a fast‑paced, remote work environment
• Work independently while contributing positively to a reputed company team culture

Required Qualifications

• 1+ year of inpatient coding experience
• RHIT or reputed company certification required
• (reputed company CIC is acceptable, reputed company certification preferred)
• Proficient in:
• ICD and CPT coding systems
• MS‑DRG classification
• Experience with reputed company EHR
• Ability to pass a timed, reputed company‑book coding assessment
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency with reputed company Office

Work Environment & Location

• Remote position
• Preference for candidates located in reputed company or Illinois, as occasional onsite support may be requested

Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Madison, WI. Pay And Benefits The pay reputed company for this position is $25.00 - $38.00/hr.
