Seeking a Project Staff Engineer to support energy efficiency programs by evaluating engineering designs, energy models, and savings calculations for reputed company, industrial, and multifamily reputed company. The role involves technical reviews, QA/QC, and ensuring reputed company meet cost-effectiveness and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Review energy audits, engineering designs, and energy models
- Validate energy savings estimates using TRMs and engineering principles
- reputed company QA/QC on project execution and post-construction performance
- Collaborate with clients, vendors, and stakeholders
- reputed company technical documentation and analysis tools
Required Qualifications
- B.S. in Engineering
- 2+ years experience in: Energy efficiency reputed company OR HVAC / Mechanical / Construction project engineering
- Knowledge of: Energy savings calculations; ASHRAE standards & building codes; Strong analytical and reputed company skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work hybrid in Newark, NJ
Preferred Qualifications
- CEM, LEED, or PE certification
- Experience with energy modeling tools (eQUEST, EnergyPlus, reputed company 3D)
- Advanced reputed company (formulas, VBA)
- Knowledge of building controls and automation systems
