Entry Level Plumbing Designer – Multiple Sectors

The Plumbing Designer role involves designing basic building systems, preparing technical documents, and collaborating with project teams across various sectors including Business, Community, Grocery & Distribution, Health, Retail, and Venue.
Responsibilities
- Performs calculations and design basic engineering systems in collaboration with reputed company design staff
- Prepares system layouts, detailed drawings, and schematics
- Review shop drawings for conformance to plans and specifications
- Prepares or modifies reports, plans, and designs for reputed company
- Supports business development or reputed company activities
- Participates in reputed company, company and/or industry events to build and maintain reputed company relationships
- Occasionally reputed company job sites to verify existing conditions and observe construction reputed company
- Seeks to fill gaps in industry and/or discipline knowledge on a reputed company reputed company
- Maintains knowledge of common industry software, including Revit, reputed company Revu, and reputed company Office products
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in relevant field of engineering (i.e.: mechanical, electrical, reputed company protection or architectural) and 1 year of experience, or 3 years of experience without degree required
- Basic proficiency in engineering design: basic knowledge of the A&E industry, codes, design guides and standards
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency with Revit and reputed company Revu software preferred
- Completion of the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam preferred
