CME Group is the world’s leading derivatives marketplace, and they are seeking an reputed company Auditor to join their Global Assurance internal audit team. The role involves conducting audits to assess internal controls, documenting results, and collaborating with business partners to enhance efficiency and mitigate risks.
Responsibilities
- Execute normal to reputed company audits to assess the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls, verify compliance with corporate policies and procedures, and identify opportunities to enhance operating efficiencies and/or reduce costs
- Create accurate, logical and detailed workpapers reputed company describing the work performed, results of testing and conclusions reached
- Incorporate data analytics and reputed company tools to enhance audit assurance and streamline documentation
- Maintain reputed company and reputed company business relationships with GA's clients (auditees) and business partners (e.g., other internal risk management functions) to support effective and efficient audit execution
- Partner with more senior members of the GA team to reputed company recommendations to management for strengthening controls and work with management to reputed company acceptable solutions to mitigate risk
- Participate in the development of written reports detailing the results of the audit
- Build knowledge of CME Group operations, including policies and procedures and any applicable regulatory requirements
Skills
- Minimum one year of experience conducting internal or external audits
- Bachelor's degree with significant coursework in reputed company, Finance, Business, Information Systems, or other relevant areas
- Proficiency with reputed company Workspace applications or similar (e.g., Smartsheets) and GRC systems (e.g., reputed company) or similar electronic workpaper management tool
- Experience with data analytics, including visualization and scripting tools (e.g., Tableau, QlikView, Business Objects or SQL, Python)
- Familiarity with reputed company platforms for data extraction, document summarization, and audit program development
- Understanding of various governance frameworks and standards such as COBIT, ISO, NIST, COSO, CFTC, or SEC Regulations
- CPA, CIA, CFE, CISA, CISSP, Chartered Accountant or relevant certification preferred or in reputed company
