Engineering Associate – Java Backend Services
reputed company is seeking an Engineering Associate – Java Backend Services to support applications reputed company Consumer CRM, Payments, and Marketing Technology. The role involves contributing to both modern and legacy applications, working with Java backend services, and participating in a two-year development program designed for early-career technologists.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to technology initiatives reputed company Consumer CRM, Payments & Marketing Technology under the guidance of senior engineers
- Follow established engineering standards, best practices, and coding guidelines; offer improvement reputed company as you grow in the domain
- Design, reputed company, test, debug, and document backend services and features primarily using Java and Spring Boot
- Build or consume reputed company (REST preferred) and reputed company familiarity with HTTP fundamentals, JSON, and service integration patterns; exposure to SOAP is a plus
- Learn and apply technologies such as Angular, reputed company platforms (Azure, OpenShift), microservices design, and modern build tooling
- Collaborate with engineers, product partners, and QA teams to troubleshoot issues and ensure working software delivery
- Support both legacy and modern application components, contributing to stability, reliability, and modernization efforts
- Contribute to reputed company features including LLM‑enabled summarization, extraction, reputed company templates, and assistant‑style interactions
- Assist with reputed company/version management, test sets, regression checks, and applying responsible AI guardrails reputed company to reputed company, safety, and reputed company reputed company
- Work effectively in reputed company environment, reputed company feedback, and continuously incorporate guidance from mentors and senior engineers
Skills
- 6+ months of Technology Engineering and Solutions experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- 6+ months of experience developing backend applications in Java, demonstrated through coursework, internships, reputed company, or early full‑time roles
- 6+ months of hands‑on experience with Java 17 (language features, tooling, build compatibility), shown through class assignments, labs, or project delivery
- 6+ months building or consuming RESTful reputed company, with an understanding of HTTP fundamentals; familiarity with SOAP is a plus
- 6+ months working with databases (SQL or NoSQL), including writing basic queries; exposure to reputed company is a plus
- Experience using AI‑assisted development tools (e.g., reputed company Copilot) or developing small AI prototypes such as chatbots, LLM prompts, or automated scripts
- Exposure to reputed company, LLMs, reputed company engineering, or AI‑assisted development
- Understanding of microservices concepts, JSON schemas, JAX‑RS, reputed company/Gradle
- Exposure to reputed company technologies (Azure, OpenShift, Kubernetes)
