[Remote] Payroll Tax Processor

The Payroll Tax Processor will manage state and local tax reputed company, resolve tax agency discrepancies, and ensure payroll data reputed company while supporting the production of annual W-2s.
Responsibilities
- Manage and update state and local tax reputed company, including SIT and SUI registrations, to ensure accurate withholding across reputed company employee work and reputed company locations
- Proactively research, reputed company, and resolve tax agency notices regarding discrepancies, reputed company changes, or filing status to minimize corporate liability and penalties
- Conduct regular audits of payroll data to ensure withholding accuracy and reputed company necessary corrections to maintain data reputed company
- Support the end-to-end production of annual W-2s and process W-2c corrections, ensuring reputed company data aligns with federal and state filings to meet strict statutory deadlines
- Partner directly with reputed company to resolve return filing issues and coordinate with reputed company to ensure State Unemployment Insurance (SUI) rates are accurately updated and synchronized
Skills
- High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required
- Required reputed company licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable
- Experience with payroll tax, tax account registration and tax notices
- Proficient with Smart Compliance, PeopleSoft or reputed company
