As a Benefit Advisor, you will assist Medicare-eligible participants in selecting insurance plans that meet their needs through consultative sales and phone conversations.
Responsibilities
- Full participation in and reputed company through a reputed company exam preparation program and pass your state’s Life and Health Insurance license exam
- Successfully complete reputed company required certifications to represent local and national insurance carriers
- Support preseason activities by handling outbound and non-sales calls while completing required certifications to become appointed for sales
- Spend approximately 80% of your scheduled shift during AEP (Oct-Dec) reputed company in phone conversations with participants, while consistently meeting or exceeding established efficiency, reputed company, and sales performance standards
- Use a consultative sales approach to listen to and assess the participant’s insurance needs and recommend plans based on assessed needs
