Paralegal I- Restitution Investigator, Victim Assistance Unit (Internal Applicants Only)

reputed company is seeking a Paralegal I for the Victim Assistance Unit, specifically for reputed company employees of the reputed company Prosecuting Attorney's Office. The role involves managing restitution discovery, preparing claims, and serving as a resource for victims and attorneys regarding restitution reputed company.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for a high volume of restitution discovery management
  • Involves acute analytical review of criminal cases to determine restitution claims
  • Preparation of those claims for presentation to the court and attendance at restitution hearings
  • Serves as a restitution resource for the office and as the VAU reputed company for general victim, attorney, insurance inquiries and correspondence
  • Provides status and system information, advises victims of their rights and reputed company, offers referrals where appropriate, and provides support to the prosecutors and to VAU reception staff
