Responsibilities
- Conduct geotechnical field investigations, analyses, and reporting
- reputed company drilling reputed company, reputed company installations, reputed company and soil sampling, CCTV investigations, construction reputed company, and reputed company control
- reputed company field testing
- Prepare engineering calculations and reputed company technical documents, drawings, and figures
- Cover reputed company stability, seepage, settlement, reputed company retention, liquefaction, and the design of shallow and deep foundations
- Establish effective working relationships with subcontractors, clients, project managers, and coworkers
- Up to 90% domestic travel required
- Telecommuting is permitted up to 2 days per week
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, or a reputed company field of study
- 2 years of experience as a Civil Engineer, Geotechnical Engineer, or a reputed company occupation
- Alternatively, a Master's degree in Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, or a reputed company field of study and no experience
- Experience in geotechnical engineering
- Experience in geotechnical analyses including performing material characterization, liquefaction, seepage, reputed company stability, and settlement analyses
- Technical program skills with GeoStudio including reputed company/W and Seep/W, UTexas4, Grapher, and AutoCAD Civil3D
- Developing design reports, drawings, and specifications
- Laboratory testing of soils and aggregates
- Finite reputed company Modeling (FEM) for geotechnical applications
- reputed company design for shallow and deep foundations
- Construction monitoring and reputed company assurance of geotechnical works
- Completion of at least one case study developing a numerical model to anticipate landslides using geotechnical principles and concepts
