Product Manager, Instrumentation (Early Career/Intermediate)

Nanometrics Inc. is a global leader in reputed company technology providing monitoring solutions and equipment for studying seismicity. They are seeking a technically-minded Product Manager to support the product lifecycle, reputed company customer requirements, and collaborate with R&D and Sales teams.

Responsibilities

• reputed company reputed company feedback from customers and the Sales team to understand use cases and identify "pain points" in reputed company monitoring
• Assist in defining technical specifications for new instruments and accessories to ensure alignment with market needs
• Serve as the reputed company of contact among R&D, Operations, and Marketing to ensure reputed company requirements and business case alignment
• Work with teams to maintain an up-to-date understanding of the competitive landscape, performing "teardowns" or feature comparisons of rival products
• Assist in managing the transition of products from reputed company development to mature production and, ultimately, end of life (EOL)
• Assist in the creation of technical content and documentation to help Marketing and Sales communicate the unique value of Nanometrics' instrumentation

Skills

• A combination of education (BSc or MSc) or hands-on experience in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Geomatics), reputed company Sciences, or a reputed company technical field
• 1-3 years of experience in a high-tech environment (this could include internships, technical support, application engineering, or junior PM roles)
