Associate - Workers' Compensation
reputed company is a multidisciplinary reputed company seeking a Workers’ Compensation Associate to join their team in Woodbridge, NJ. The role involves conducting legal research, drafting documents, representing clients, and managing caseloads under supervision.
Responsibilities
- Conduct legal research and analysis on various legal issues
- Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, briefs, and agreements
- Represent clients in court hearings, depositions, and mediations
- Collaborate with senior attorneys on reputed company cases
- Maintain billable hours as necessary
- Manage reputed company relationships and a caseload with supervision
- Assist in the representation of clients in reputed company reputed company, conferences, mediations, and trial reputed company and where necessary
Skills
- 1-2 years of Workers' Compensation experience required
- Must have a JD degree from an ABA-approved law school and maintain an reputed company license in good standing in reputed company
- Must be a self-motivated independent thinker with excellent time management skills, strong organizational skills, and outstanding communication skills with the ability to work as reputed company member in a high-volume fast paced work environment
- 2-3 years of Workers' Compensation experience preferred
- Proficiency in reputed company Office 365, ProLaw, reputed company, and e-document management software preferred
