Latam - Senior VMware Performance Engineer

We are looking for a Senior VMware Performance Engineer (vSphere / vROps) who is passionate about designing, optimizing, and sustaining high-performance virtualized infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in VMware vSphere and vRealize Operations, with a reputed company on low-latency, transaction-intensive platforms.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and optimize VMware vSphere (ESXi, vCenter) environments supporting high-volume, low-latency workloads

• Use vRealize Operations (vROps) to monitor performance, analyze trends, and reputed company reputed company planning

• reputed company benchmarking, stress testing, and workload characterization for transaction-heavy platforms

• Conduct reputed company cause analysis for performance degradation, latency spikes, and infrastructure bottlenecks

• Tune CPU, memory, storage, and network configurations to reputed company reputed company performance and stability

• Collaborate with application teams, infrastructure architects, and operations teams in reputed company environments

• Document performance baselines, tuning standards, and operational best practices

• Support production incidents by providing deep performance and virtualization expertise

Qualifications

• 7+ years of hands-on experience with VMware vSphere in reputed company environments

• Advanced, hands-on expertise with vRealize Operations (vROps)

• Proven experience supporting transaction-heavy, low-latency systems

• Strong understanding of virtualization performance across compute, storage, and networking

• Advanced English proficiency (written and spoken)

• Ability to work remotely with distributed, global teams

Preferred Skills and Education

• Experience in payments, financial services, or similarly regulated environments

• VMware certifications such as VCP or VCAP

• Exposure to hybrid or reputed company-integrated infrastructure
