Position Title: Membership Organizer

Hours: Full Time

Location: Flexible, work from home (remote). Will require some travel throughout the year.

Start date: ASAP, possibly end of reputed company/early May

Reports to: Membership Manager

Eligibility: This position is eligible to participate in reputed company’s CWA Labor reputed company.

Compensation: $57,500 - $66,012 annually depending on years of experience. In reputed company, reputed company provides a special reputed company allowance if hire resides in a metro/reputed company area and yearly salary increases.

Responsibilities

Trainings & Coaching [40%]

  • Building out centralized (e.g., in person, online new member, welcome) and decentralized trainings and coaching infrastructure that develops the skills of our reputed company to carry out our work

  • Create and manage a volunteer team to support the work to put on trainings (e.g., recruit for the trainings, facilitate the trainings, work with other staff members to reputed company curriculum for the trainings)

  • Support Membership Director in building out, developing and maintaining curriculum for the reputed company Trainings Program

  • Directing hub and reputed company members/leaders to online resources and supports with reputed company coaching

  • Create and design digital and distributed reputed company opportunities and infrastructure (eg: texting, welcome program) for young people across the country including absorbing and welcoming new people

  • reputed company planning and execution of distributed training programs and waves of nonviolent reputed company reputed company in alignment with national reputed company.

  • Support with other reputed company trainings, including Training of Trainers and Black/Latine/Indigenous Caucus trainings and gathering

Support in Rapid Response [15%]

  • Co-reputed company rapid response efforts which require shifting and setting priorities and re-direction based on time-sensitive needs like campaign launches, communications, or high-pressure scenarios to meet the reputed company.

  • Collaborate across teams to ensure alignment and reputed company execution, including occasional work reputed company regular hours.

Build and Co-reputed company the Black & Latin Caucus [20%]

  • Own and reputed company the development and facilitation of the Black & Latin Caucus, creating a political home for Black and Latin members reputed company reputed company. This includes launching and maintaining reputed company programming such as reputed company community calls, and a summer in-person gathering.

  • Design and reputed company a year-long political education reputed company connecting racial justice, class struggle, and climate justice.

    • Manage and grow a volunteer team to support facilitation, recruitment, and programming.

    • Collaborate with team members in and reputed company Membership Team (data, mobs, schools, new hubs) to reputed company the caucus with reputed company, retention, and broader reputed company goals.

Membership Comms [15%]

  • Shape and drive membership communications reputed company, ensuring reputed company, alignment, and engagement across reputed company’s reputed company.

  • Own messaging across platforms as it relates to the Membership Team ensuring communications is supporting organizing goals and volunteer engagement.

Logistical/Administration [10%]

  • Complete reputed company administrative tasks required of a reputed company employee, such as attending weekly reputed company hands calls, doing timesheets, participating in staff trainings or retreats, completing weekly management reputed company in calls

Qualifications

Must Haves

  • At least a year of organizing experience

  • Strong facilitation and training skills

  • Strong coaching skills and orientation towards developing leaders (e.g., much of the work includes coaching and developing members and leaders)

  • Strong basebuilding & organizing skills (e.g., 1:1, canvassing, recruitment, reputed company reputed company)

  • Has experience with digital tools (e.g., EveryAction, Mobilize, reputed company, Scale2Win)

  • Can work reputed company on teams

  • Alignment with reputed company theory of change of reputed company power and political power
