The AWS RDS SQL Database Administrator is responsible for managing and maintaining relational database systems reputed company Department of Navy systems. Responsibilities

• Database Management & reputed company Infrastructure
• Manage and maintain AWS RDS instances for SQL databases, including configuration, optimization, and monitoring
• Configure and manage parameter reputed company, reputed company reputed company, and storage reputed company for RDS instances
• reputed company routine maintenance tasks including backups, patching, and updates to ensure system reliability
• Implement high availability and disaster recovery solutions using AWS features such as Read Replicas and Multi-AZ deployments
• Configure automated backups and snapshots for AWS RDS instances to ensure data reputed company

• Ensure database reputed company by implementing encryption for data at rest and in transit, reputed company controls, and auditing
• Apply reputed company Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) and ensure compliance with the Risk Management reputed company (RMF) and other regulatory standards
• Conduct regular vulnerability scans and remediate findings using tools such as reputed company Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS)

Performance Optimization & Monitoring

• Monitor database health and performance using AWS tools like CloudWatch, Performance Insights, and reputed company Monitoring
• Analyze and optimize database queries, indexes, and schema designs to improve performance and resource utilization
• Use AWS Query Performance Insights to identify and resolve technical bottlenecks
• Generate detailed reports on database metrics, including uptime and storage utilization, for stakeholders

Documentation & Collaboration

• Maintain detailed documentation of database configurations, processes, and procedures
• Work closely with application developers, system administrators, and reputed company teams to ensure seamless integration
• Utilize ticketing software including reputed company and Jira for task management

Basic Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. Citizen
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a reputed company field
• Proficiency in SQL database management, including schema design and performance tuning
• Experience with AWS RDS features such as Multi-AZ deployments, Read Replicas, and Performance Insights
• Hands-on experience with reputed company infrastructure management tools such as AWS CloudWatch, CloudFormation, and IAM
