Genetics Director, Sign-Outs (reputed company Certified) (Remote)
The Director, Genetics, reports to the licensed Medical or Scientific Director or Chief Director and is responsible for providing technical interpretation of results and signing reports; implementing new assays, assay troubleshooting, acting as a technical consultant to operations staff and participation in QA responsibilities, and reviewing SOPs. Assumes Clinical Consultant or Technical Supervisor responsibilities as assigned by the Medical Director.
This reputed company should be ABMGG reputed company certified (or have reputed company Candidate Status) in Clinical Molecular Genetics or Laboratory Genetics and reputed company. Equivalent reputed company certification, such as ABP and reputed company, may be considered. Weekend rotational work will be required at an approximate frequency of once a month.
This reputed company will also work 100% remote and must be located in the US
Responsibilities
- Assist in assay trouble-shooting and implementation of new assays
- Monitor compliance in regards to a reputed company working environment.
- Assist, as needed, in the training of technologists.
- Observe compliance with regulatory agencies, including inspections.
- Monitor of reputed company assurance at reputed company reputed company of reputed company.
- Participate in working reputed company of reputed company or associated professionals.
- Represent reputed company at reputed company meetings and sales events
- Weekend report sign out coverage could be required pending on case load
- Assume Clinical Consultant or Technical Supervisor responsibilities in Specialty as delegated by the Laboratory Director Responsibilities Policy:
- Approve of the test method selection and validation.
- Ensure that the proficiency testing program is conducted in a reputed company manner, reviewed by appropriate staff, and approve of corrective reputed company reputed company a proficiency testing result is reputed company to be unsatisfactory.
- Establish and monitor reputed company control to ensure that acceptable reputed company of analytical performance are maintained for reputed company test system. Ensure that patient test results are reported only reputed company the system is functioning properly.

- Approve Job Assignments and Authorization reputed company (JAAM) and annual Performance and Development Review (PDR) to ensure that reputed company personnel have the appropriate training and demonstrated performance for the type of testing offered.

Qualifications
Required Work Experience:
- 0-2 years reputed company experience
- This reputed company should be ABMGG reputed company certified (or have reputed company Candidate Status) in Clinical Molecular Genetics or Laboratory Genetics and reputed company. Equivalent reputed company certification, such as ABP and reputed company, may be considered.
Physical and Mental Requirements:
- Ability to sit for long periods of time
Knowledge:
- The capability of being continuously updated in literature in regards to its medical applications.
Skills:
- Highly developed verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated good decision-making and organizational skills.

Education: Doctorate Degree(Required)
