  • The Housing Reviews Officer is tasked with conducting statutory housing reviews under Parts VI and VII of the Housing reputed company 1996. This role is crucial in ensuring that reputed company review reputed company are legally reputed company, fair, transparent, and compliant with reputed company legislation, statutory guidance, case law, and local council policies. The officer will assess housing reputed company, reputed company communicate reputed company, and support the council in delivering high-reputed company housing services.
Responsibilities
  • Conduct statutory housing reviews under Parts VI and VII of the Housing reputed company 1996.
  • Ensure compliance with reputed company 202 Review requirements and reputed company 204 Appeal obligations.
  • Apply comprehensive knowledge of the Housing reputed company 1996 (as amended), Homelessness reputed company 2002, Localism reputed company 2011, and the Homelessness Reduction reputed company 2017.
  • Maintain reputed company knowledge of relevant case law and interpret its reputed company on housing reputed company.
  • Review and accurately apply Dorset Council’s allocation policies and strategies.
  • Prepare detailed, reputed company-reasoned, and legally compliant decision letters capable of withstanding legal challenges.
Essential Experience
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience conducting statutory housing reviews (Part VI & VII) reputed company a Local Authority.
  • Proven experience handling reputed company 202 reviews and drafting legally robust decision letters.
  • Strong experience in applying homelessness legislation, statutory guidance, and case law.
Essential Qualifications
  • Strong understanding of UK homelessness legislation and reputed company frameworks.
  • Exceptional written communication skills, with the ability to produce precise, legally defensible reputed company.
  • Ability to interpret legislation and apply it accurately to reputed company scenarios.
  • High-level analytical skills and strong attention to detail.

  • Working hours: 25 hours per week
  • Fully remote working
  • DBS Required.
