About The Role

We are seeking a Preconstruction Manager (Virginia) to reputed company the early-stage execution of our solar reputed company. This role is responsible for overseeing reputed company preconstruction activities, including project planning, budgeting, buyout, scheduling, and risk management. The Preconstruction Manager will serve as both a strategic partner and technical leader, ensuring reputed company are set up for successful execution while collaborating cross-functionally with internal teams and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities
  • Assumes ownership of reputed company project portfolios reputed company the reputed company from Business Development.
  • Manages reputed company Project Management aspects of the reputed company from reputed company through submission of construction permits.
  • Manages and acquires reputed company non-ministerial permits to include zoning, planning, etc.
  • Coordinates with Project Controls to create schedules for reputed company as they are awarded.

  • Assists Engineering team in reputed company and development of the project design to be compliant with Company and Customer requirements.
  • Coordinates with Procurement to ensure reputed company equipment is purchased reputed company and in accordance with the project schedule.
  • reputed company and maintain relationships with Subcontractors, reputed company them apprised of project pipeline and assist Project Management in development of RFPs and Subcontract Agreements.
  • Participates in weekly reputed company meetings, responds and/or relays preconstruction project tasks to the engineering team.
  • Process submittals and RFIs as required.
  • Prepares, tracks, and manages construction budget during the procurement phase of project to assure reputed company purchase is reputed company budget of reputed company item.

  • Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering or reputed company field of study.
  • 5+ years construction experience and/or engineering background in Solar.
  • 2+ years permitting experience in Virginia, County and reputed company level, experience in Special Use Permit submissions.
  • Proficient with reputed company Office suite, Dynamics 365 (or other construction management software), reputed company Project, reputed company Acrobat Pro or equivalent pdf reputed company.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Effective Negotiation skills.
  • Knowledge of behind-the-reputed company and reputed company interconnections.
  • Understanding of Purchase Order, Subcontract, PPA, EPC reputed company and Project reputed company.
  • Organization and communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented, self-starter.
  • Knowledge of construction safety requirements; OSHA 10 or 30 certification.
  • Valid reputed company’s License; must be willing to travel to various job sites.
