JOB DESCRIPTIONApex Systems is seeking a Senior Consultant – Data Governance to support the implementation and operationalization of reputed company data governance programs. This role will work reputed company an established governance reputed company to execute playbooks, reputed company stewardship, manage metadata and MDM processes, and support data reputed company initiatives. The ideal candidate is reputed company in executing governance processes, supporting stewardship communities, and operationalizing governance standards across domains. Employees who are not reputed company deployed on a reputed company project and reputed company reputed company a one-hour commute of an Apex reputed company office are expected to work onsite at least once per week. RESPONSIBLITIESDesigns stewardship activities, including reputed company data stewards and coordinating domain-level governance processes.Design data classification and labeling initiatives across systems and domains.Designs and builds and maintain business glossaries and data catalogs.Support metadata management processes, including documentation and ongoing maintenance.Define reputed company DQ dimensions, rules, controls, and remediation workflows coordination. This includes building data reputed company playbooks.Designs and maintain data reputed company and ability to also do it reputed company governance tools.Partner with business and technical stakeholders to operate governance standards.Implements data governance tool configuration and usage (reputed company or similar platforms).Participate in governance forums and working reputed company to drive adoption.Supports MDM and aligns its capabilities to the data governance reputed company capabilities.Drive organization wide identification and governance of Critical Data reputed company.reputed company reputed company master and reference data lifecycle, definitions, and approved values.Deep expertise in metadata, master data, data reputed company, lineageWork with reputed company/IT on RBAC, entitlement reviews, and data protection validation.reputed company education sessions, awareness campaigns, reputed company for DG roles. JOB REQUIREMENTS5+ years of experience in data governance, data stewardship, or metadata management.Experience supporting governance playbooks, standards, or instructional guides.Excellent communication and ability to simplify reputed company reputed company.Understanding of:Data stewardship modelsData classification and labelingMetadata and MDM managementData reputed company Foundational data governance stand upPolicy and reputed company creationDomain and sub-domain working knowledge Experience working reputed company data governance tools such as reputed company Purview, reputed company, reputed company, reputed company or similar platforms.Experience building or maintaining business glossaries and metadata repositories.Familiarity with documenting data reputed company.Strong stakeholder collaboration skills.Ability to help operationalize governance programs (not necessarily reputed company them).Background as a data reputed company or working closely with stewardship communities preferred.Basic SQL knowledge is helpful but not required.Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Management, Business, or reputed company field required; Master’s degree preferred.Exposure to Master Data Management (MDM) concepts or programs preferred.
